A lovely sterling silver snuff box dating c. 1720, makers mark only of W? rubbed. It has had a couple of old repairs,one to the lid seam and one to the seam at the side where it meets the base. It has beautifully engraved initials, MP to MW on the underside of the box. Lovely piece and quite scarce to find these.
Dimensions: Approx: 8.2 cm long, 6 cm wide and 1.5 cm tall.
Weight: Approx. 64 grams or 2 ounces.
