Regular priceSale price
An extremely early and rare Australian made 18 carat gold ring by Lamborn and Wagner of Melbourne, circa 1865. The firm existed in this form from circe 1858-1885.
The ring features a harp and shamrocks, so more than likely for an Irish immigrant. It came with other items from a family named Rooney, so it is likely this is the family who owned the ring as the initials on the inside of the band are MR.
The ring is fully hallmarked inside the band, "star" L&W "crown" and 18.
